Denise Cheng is nationally known for her research to support independent workers in the peer/sharing economy. Denise has been quoted by NPR, FastCompany, Harvard Business Review, Forbes, and NextCity. She has spoken at the New Museum, SXSWi, Personal Democracy Forum, the Department of Labor, and others. Currently, Denise is an affiliate researcher with the MIT Center for Civic Media and an innovation fellow with the SF Mayor’s Office of Civic Innovation.
